Now you have something to look forward to", that was Kelly and her outlook on life. I'm Kelly's cousin and although there was a 10 year difference in age (me being olderš³), we were always close. As kids, I went with their family for a summer trip to Cherokee Village in Arkansas. In hindsight, it was probably to babysit Kelly and Jim while her parents attended a sales pitch on time shares but it was fun and cemented that bond. I took her to a cubs game a few years later, only to forget where I parked the car. Neither of us panicked and had quite the adventure finding the car. Fast forward 40 years to the present. I live in the mountains in Colorado and always wanted a hot tub. Kelly did her best to convince me that I should get it even though covid and getting the hot tub was going to be a year or more. I finally decided to get one and her comment was "now you have something to look forward too." This has to be the way Kelly got through the last 13 years of her epic battle with this terrible disease. Andy and the kids were her world-nothing was going to keep her from living life to the fullest. Her other mantra, always have a plan, kept her going, even in the worst of times. I miss her terribly but know her star is shining the brightest as she continues to guide us through life and the legacy that lives on through Andy, Kyle, Jacob, Corrine.......and Hopeā¤ļø
